The existing lean-to element of our clients' house contained a small garage and a utility room that was not meeting their requirements. Consequently, we replaced the existing structure with a larger footprint that included a shower room, utility room, laundry room and a feature roof structure that extended into the rear garden to create a covered patio.

Tip of the day...using a roof overhang, pergola or brise soleil on the south facing side of a building will keep the interior cool during the hot summer months.
